MDF is a wood-based material made exclusively from thinned wood (industrial wood) of spruce and pine. Over the entire life cycle from production to disposal, less energy is consumed than can be generated from the product ("plus energy product"). The MDF carcass is oiled on the surface and dyed black through. The surface therefore does not require any plastic foiling or varnishing. It consists of pure wood. On closer inspection, the black through-dyed solid material has a lively surface structure, which is emphasized by the surface treatment with oil. This surface structure emphasizes the naturalness of this extraordinary piece of furniture. There is no need for extensive cleaning, the pore-tight surface ensures easy maintenance. Clean light dirt with a moderately damp cloth or sponge, remove heavier dirt with a little water and gentle detergent or dishwashing liquid or soapy water. Absorb excess water quickly and completely with cloth or sponge. Rub wooden edges with dry cloth. Important: After cleaning, dry the surface and edges completely with a cloth! Do not use any sharp and/or abrasive cleaning agents. They could damage the surface. Only use cleaning cloths or cleaning rags or natural or plastic sponges for cleaning. Do not use plastic cleaning pads, microfiber cloths or steel wool.
